Three ways to shrink an image

There are three levers: compress (re-encode at a slightly lower quality you often can't see), resize (fewer pixels — a 4000px photo rarely needs to be that big on screen), and convert to a modern format like WebP, which is far smaller than JPG or PNG at the same quality. Combining them gives the biggest saving with the least visible loss.

Reduce the size in 3 steps
