Do I need a browser extension?

Can I download a single image from its link?
Yes. Paste a direct image link — one ending in .jpg, .png or .webp — and it downloads straight away, with no picking step.
Why did some images fail to download?
Some sites block hotlinking, so their files refuse requests that don't come from their own pages. Those are skipped and the rest still download; the page tells you how many didn't make it.
Which pages won't work?
Anything that needs a login, or images drawn in by scripts after the page loads, won't be visible to us — we read the markup a page serves, not a fully rendered browser view. Private or local addresses are refused for safety.
Is it legal to download images from a website?
The tool only fetches what a page already serves publicly, but the images themselves usually remain someone's copyright. Check the licence before republishing anything you save.
